2023 Wooden Toy Scroll-Off Winners!

Scrollsaw Woodworking & Crafts magazine proudly announces the winners of our 2023 Wooden Toy Scroll-Off!  With 314 entries, encompassing everything from puzzles to marionettes, we were awestruck by the varied entries.  Thank you to all who entered.  A big thanks to our sponsors: Seyco.com, Saburrtooth and Bear Woods Supply Co.

Our first place winner with 2598 votes is Pam H. with her Burger Fun stacking toy (above).  Pam wins a Nine Piece Saburrtooth Scroll Saw 1/8″ Shank Kit plus a $100 Fox Chapel Publishing Prize Pack which includes our Eat, Sleep, Scroll, Repeat shirt and mug.

Coming in at second place with 2481 votes is Sara R. with her Fireman Marionette.  Sara wins a $100 gift certificate to Bear Woods Supply plus a $100 Fox Chapel Publishing Prize Pack, which includes the book Easy Handmade Toys & Puzzles.

Karen E impressed readers with her Noah’s Ark with Woodburned Animals, securing the 3rd place slot.  Karen will receive a Scroller’s Drill from Seyco.com and a $100 Fox Chapel Publishing Prize Pack, which includes the book, Making Toys.

Matt L. came in 4th place with four different entries that had enough votes for 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th place!  Because the contest states “one prize pack per person,” it places Matt solidly in the 4th place slot, winning him a $100 Fox Chapel Publishing Prize Pack.

Rounding out all the entries, Brooks W. comes in 5th place with a great Wooden Weenie Dog pull toy, made for their grandson, Archer.  Brooks also gets a $100 Fox Chapel Publishing Prize Pack.
