This year’s event promises classes, demos, door prizes, contests, and more
Get ready for the 20th Midwest Scroll Saw & Woodworking Trade Show, held on Aug. 3-4, 2018, at the Dubuque County Fairgrounds (14569 Old Hwy. Rd., Dubuque, IA 52002)! This show is a great way for scrollers of all skill levels to connect, share ideas, and see what’s new in the world of wood. Skills represented include scrolling, intarsia, wood-turning, woodcarving, pyrography, and more. Check out the vendor tables to purchase scroll saws, blades, lumber, tools, and woodworking literature.
Not planning on staying for the entire show? Both days are packed with a continuous line-up of classes and seminars, from the simple to the complex. Mini-seminars will walk you through beginner projects such as pens, ornaments, and small puzzles; scroll saw contests and display tables will showcase fine work from around the country.
